A wedding is not just something that takes place on a set date, they involve months of planning and preparation, from invites and seating plans to cake design and dress picking. Thankfully I understand all of this, and I like to think a photographer should be involved along the way. I encourage pre-wedding shoots, pre-wedding consultations, Skype calls, phone calls, emails, and continuous contact with my clients. The relationship you build with your photographer helps to create a beautifully natural set of photographs.
I started shooting weddings
5 years ago, and I have to be honest, to start with, I was terrified! Being in charge of the most important set of photographs, most people will ever have taken, is a pretty big deal, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
